Is when we not only had a collective love and respect for these boys but also because we had a huge love and respect for each other. One Direction united people from all over the world in a common love. With a simple dream they've brought a little more light and love and happiness into this world and that, that, is why they not only save lives but change the world.

Okay, so a bunch of people like One Direction. Good for them. But a lot of people like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Doctor Who, Sherlock etc, and these things have brought a lot of people together as well. It doesn’t make One Direction unique.
They’re not going to change the fucking world. Stop talking about them like they were some fucking God’s. They’re going to be gone very soon, you know. They’re not really saying you’re beautiful no matter what. Well, they are singing it, but they didn’t write their songs. They’re singing what someone else wrote for them. They’re not working their asses of. I can see that they are stressed, but there are great musicians who also tour as much as they do, BUT, these other musicians WRITE THEIR SONGS and PLAY THEIR OWN INSTRUMENTS.
I wouldn’t say that they treat you as family. You think they do. That Louis guy doesn’t seem to care AT ALL about his fans from interviews I’ve seen or whatever you can call it. They are nice to their fans, sure. But you’re not their family.
Any band or anything can bring people together. It doesn’t make them special.

One Direction have talent, plain and simple, my brother, a music major and teacher who is ridiculously picky on who has talent and who doesn't, even says they are talented. Everybody has a different opinion on what is good music and what is not. Just because you’re brother says they have talent doesn’t mean that they actually have it. They don’t write songs, don’t play instruments (except blondie) and they use auto tune. What’s talented about that? I’m not questioning the fact that these boys make their fans happy.

I don’t think they’re ugly as fuck. They’re not very attractive in my eyes but I can see why others find them appealing. I think their looks is what made people love them, which is why I agree with you that they don’t deserve their fame. I’m glad that they’re short time in the spotlight will soon be over.

I truly don't understand why people are saying Beatles aren't that great and this and that. Don't they know their history? If it weren't for the Beatles, which is the source to almost EVERY musician's inspiration, they wouldn't be no One Fucking Direction. I don't see the big hype about this boy band anyways.

I went through some of the notes and I noticed how some of the fans tried to defend him. Why? Louis is extremly rude, don’t defend him! Like the band all you want but obviously he’s not a very nice person. He thinks he’s the king of the world just because he got 5 minutes of fame.
